• Updated COVID-19 vaccines authorized by Health Canada will be available soon. Initial doses will be prioritized for high risk and priority groups. Doses will be available to the general population starting October 28, 2024.
• Individuals not previously vaccinated who are:
  • 6 months to 4 years may receive 2 or 3 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, depending on immunization history
  • 5 years and older should receive one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
• Vaccinations are available at many pharmacies, physician's offices as well as other locations in Halton
• The COVID-19 Vaccination Service for Homebound Residents is available for residents who are unable to leave their homes. Eligible residents can submit a request for this service by completing the COVID-19 Vaccination Service for Homebound Residents – service form

Ontario Pharmacy Vaccine Program

You can receive your COVID-19 primary vaccine series and/or booster doses at participating pharmacies. The vaccine types offered by specific pharmacies may change without notice.

Most pharmacies book appointments ahead of time and some allow walk-ins. Check with the pharmacy before you go

• you must have a valid Ontario health (OHIP) card, or other form of valid government-issued identification
• contact a participating pharmacy near you to book an appointment
