Description (Service) As of Jan 20, the total number of confirmed positive and probable cases in Halton Region is 7,693 (an increase of 54 since yesterday) with 443 currently active. 
 
On January 12, 2021, the Ontario Government declared a State of Emergency and issued a stay-at-home order, which came into effect January 14, 2021.
 
 
The stay-at-home order requires everyone to remain at home with exceptions for essential purposes, including:
  • getting groceries or medicine from the pharmacy
  • accessing health care services
  • outdoor physical activity alone or with your household members
  • essential work.

It is strongly recommended that all residents:
  • stay home, except for essential purposes such as going to work or school, buying essentials such as groceries, and attending medical appointments
  • maintain a physical distance of two metres (six feet) from those outside their household. Those that live alone may join one designated household
  • avoid all social gatherings such as play dates, birthday parties, and dinner parties with friends or family
