| Description (Service) | Complimentary patient email service for individuals who cannot come to the hospital for a visit * send a greeting via email by providing the full name of the patient in the subject line, including room number or unit, if known * a volunteer will print the message, seal it and arrange for delivery * volunteers are unable to open attachments * greetings will only be delivered to current inpatients that have chosen to be listed in the hospital directory * hospital is not responsible for e-mails that are misdirected, lost or accidentally deleted from the message system * pet visits must be pre-arranged and are limited to dogs, including guide dogs |
