Newcomer Settlement Program

  • needs assessment, orientation sessions
  • information and referral to community resources, including
    • mental health, legal aid, and language training
  • assistance and support in securing housing
  • employment support, including
    • job search strategies, resume building, and connections to local employers
  • workshops and information sessions, including
    • health care, legal rights, transportation, financial literacy, and education

Focused support for Refugees and Asylum Seekers

  • assistance with navigating legal and immigration processes, as well as trauma-informed care
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Newcomers, asylum seekers, refugees and their families; focus on African or Black Canadian communities
