A collaborative initiative between Halton Region and three community agencies: Burlington Food Bank, Food For Life and Kerr Street Mission which provide monthly food deliveries to Ontario Works clients, helping to improve food security

A program that provides free monthly grocery deliveries to the homes of Ontario Works recipients in the Halton Region

• recipients receive a package once per month including a box of assorted fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a choice of protein

Office Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm

• informed of eligibility usually between 5th and 10th of the month
• deliveries scheduled between 2nd week and end of the month

• active recipient of Ontario Works benefits
• living in Halton Region
• recipients of the HFC program must be present to accept their delivery, or make arrangements with another member of their household to be present

• Registrations are taken to the end of each month, for deliveries the following month
• Once registration is completed initially, it rolls over without further action required by the client
