Activities include:

Jack Talks 

  • Mental health presentations delivered by two trained post-secondary aged speakers
  • Speakers will share general mental health knowledge, tools on how to be there for ourselves and others, community resources and mental health stories that have been vetted for safety to create opportunities for discussion
  • Jack Talks are currently entirely virtual and entirely free 

Jack Chapters

  • Groups of young people working year-round to identify and dismantle barriers to positive mental health in their communities
  • Young advocates can start chapters at high schools, post-secondary campuses or anywhere else that youth gather
  • Jack.org provides online training in mental health knowledge, goal setting, initiative planning, ongoing coaching through monthly calls and an annual in-person or virtual visit, and annual funding to support chapters in carrying out initiatives

Be There Certificate

  • Learn to support someone struggling with their mental health through an online course
  • How to recognize when someone might be struggling with their mental health, your role in supporting that person, and how to connect them to the help they deserve.
  • 6 interactive lessons, less than 2 hours and freee of charge
