Relieves distress and promotes the well-being of Members and Former Members of the Naval Forces of Canada and their dependents Provides grants, loans and bursaries to those in need |

Eligibility |
- Former or serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces who have one year service in Maritime Command or the RCN;
- Former or serving members of the Royal Canadian Navy, providing they completed basic training;
- Former or serving members of the Naval Reserve who have completed basic training;
- Former members of the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service;
- Canadian Merchant Navy War Veterans;
- Dependants of any individual who qualifies for assistance as described above

Application |
- Eligible applicants serving in the Canadian Armed Forces should apply through their Commander or his representative as laid down in local orders
- All other applications for assistance should be made through the Department of Veterans Affairs, Royal Canadian Legions or Naval Organizations
